Website Designed ByI am a senior consultant orthopaedic surgeon at the internationally recognised foot and ankle unit at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in central London. I was appointed there as a consultant in 2012.
I have undertaken most of my training in London. Qualifying as a doctor in 2000 from St George’s Hospital Medical School in Tooting before training to become an Orthopaedic surgeon at the Imperial college orthopaedic training rotation in Central London. Prior to my consultant appointment I spent a year in the U.S.A to undertake sub-specialty Foot and ankle surgical training in a comprehensive fellowship programme at Mercy hospital in Portland, Maine under the guidance of Dr. Gregory Pomeroy. I am proud to be one of only a handful of U.K. surgeons who has been accepted onto and completed such a programme. My training is therefore recognised by the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle society (AOFAS) as well as its British counterpart (BOFAS).
My practice is exclusively dedicated to the management of foot and ankle problems. In 2018 I consolidated my private practice to one single site, at the prestigious Schoen Clinic London who opened the first outcome driven, single site, private orthopaedic hospital in the U.K. and am currently the lead foot and ankle surgeon at the hospital.
